About us

Inland Northwest Episcopal Cursillo is a movement of the Diocese of Spokane and is affiliated with the National Episcopal Cursillo.  Our diocese includes 41 parishes in an area encompassing all of Washington east of the Cascade Mountains, and Idaho north of the Salmon River (see map below).  One of our challenges is building community among people who are separated sometimes by hundreds of miles.

We officially started in May 2003, when our Bishop, James Waggoner, Jr., approved our Pastoral Plan and appointed the first Secretariat members. Our current Secretariat members are listed here.

We have an active Ultreya in the Spokane area, meeting approximately every other month, usually on second Saturdays.  We hope to develop Ultreyas in other parts of the diocese as we grow. All interested persons are welcome at Ultreyas, regardless of denomination or whether they have attended a weekend.

Our weekends are co-ed, held in the spring and fall. Dates, locations and leaders of past weekends are shown here.  Information about the next scheduled weekend is linked in the left column.
